This course which debuted in Janurary of 2004, is the brainchild of Amy Ladd MD. Dr. Ladd is Head of Outreach at SUMMIT (Stanford University Medical Media & Information Technologies) where she first started working with Kingsley Willis B.A. in Art and Art History. Kingsley is the Project Manager for the course handling the more artistic aspects of the course including web design, video and graphic design.

Through another one of Dr. Ladd's many other hats at the Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center, she involved the talents of Jessica Rose Ph.D. Dr. Rose who serves as Co-instructor for the course, is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Orthopaedics and also the Director of the Motion & Gait Analysis Lab at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
